Glitter Crazy!

Glitter Wine Bottles and Picture Frame

I had some empty wine bottles and a plain picture frame that needed something.  Glitter!

 What you need:
Empty Wine Bottle
Picture frame
Glitter
Mod Podge
Paint Brush
Excess Paper or Newspaper

How to:
Use the paint brush to coat the wine bottle and picture frame with Mod Podge.  Then sprinkle the glitter over the coated areas.  The excess paper or newspaper is for the mess that will ensue.  Allow to dry for about a half hour.  Then add one final coat of Mod Podge to ensure no more loose glitter.  Allow to dry for another half hour or so.  Finished!

Everyone needs a little glitter in their life!

No Sew Puppy Pillow

No Sew Puppy Pillow

I really want a puppy!  And every puppy needs a bed of their own!  I currently don't have a sewing machine so i needed a no sew project.

What you need:
1 Yard of fleece (I bought 2 to make toys from the scraps)
Pillow or Fluff Pillow Stuffing

How to:
Start with two sides, Top and bottom.  Make sure the size is at least 8 inches larger and wider than the final size wanted. Cut 1 inch wide strips about 4 inches deep all around the edges of your two sides.  Cut out the square corners.  (I used these scraps to make a cute ball toy)  Tie one side to the other but leave one side open to stuff.  Once stuffed time the rest.  Finished!  If you still have some scraps like I did make some toys that you won't mind them ripping up.  I made a ball toy and tug toy as you can see below.

I love this pillow and I hope our future puppy does too!

Summer Wreath

Little Umbrellas!

What says summer on the beach better than little umbrellas?  This is a super inexpensive wreath that is lots of fun to make and looks amazing hung up!

What you need:
Round Foam Wreath
Little Umbrellas
 Yarn (to hang)

How to:
Alternate colors and simply stick the pick into the foam wreath.  The hard part is definitely towards the end as you try to fill in the empty spots but its totally worth it!
